God has deposited an extraordinary power in us and that power is the calmness that comes from His peace. We often panic when trouble comes and we end up battling with our emotions and losing the peace that we had. The situation becomes worse than before, but the Bible shows us many incidences where people saw God’s hands doing wonders for them amidst challenges.

In Acts, we see Paul who remained calm amidst the tumult at the sea. We also see him and Silas remain calm and singing to God while they were in the prison. Their calmness actually brought heaven down to the prison and it’s foundation itself was shaken. How could Paul do this in the midst of such persecutions?

It is the Christ who dwelt in him that made him remain calm in every situation. Christ who slept in the midst of a tempest and who calmed the raging wind and the tossing waves reigned in Paul’s heart and mind.

Yes! God’s peace fills our inner man with His calmness and this has great power. The power to bring heaven to earth, to shake the foundation of your troubles and to calm the waves in your life.

“For thus says the Lord GOD: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So, be calm, remain in His peace and experience God’s power!

The bible never says TRY the Word, but says DO the Word.

“But be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:22).Try means you have a failure element in it and you are not sure. But DO does not have any doubts because the One who said it is God and He won’t say anything that He cannot do or perform .In trying, we are limiting God in a way but in doing, we are trusting that He will perform. One big mistake that we commit is that we try to see if the Word works, not knowing that the Word works according to what we believe. Many times we even forget the miracles which HE already did in our lives and doubt Him again and again or pity ourselves thinking God might not do it for me as I don’t have faith or am not good enough. Wait a minute!

Did Israel have faith that God would provide everything in the journey before they left Egypt? Or were they better than us? Neither. It was the FAITHFULNESS OF GOD by which HE is bound to HIS Word. He won’t go back on it but will perform it for us. So, just do it.

The only reason Peter started to drown in Mathew ch14 was, he stopped believing in the Words of Jesus and he focussed on the storm around him.
Stop looking at your circumstances and have faith on what JESUS says to you. He said, “I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU”.
He says you are a child Of God! He said that you are going to live a life of triumph! All the storms that you are facing, Jesus expects you to WALK ON IT with HIM by your side making you invincible.

Many a times we limit God through our intellect. By putting a limit in our mind, we put a cap on what He can do, thus limiting HIM to work in and through us . Only the Holy Spirit can help us reveal HIM as our source and supply .It’s good to remember HIS acts and to remind us that HE IS GOD AND THAT HE CAN DO ANYTHING !

Let not our minds be occupied in the little things of life, and move on or rather PRESS ON, to the calling HE has called us into.

Being citizens of heaven, our provisions too are heavenly. Stir up the gifts in you and walk in the POWER of God which is working in you…the WORD of GOD which EFFECTIVELY WORKS IN YOU WHO BELIEVE. (1 Thessalonians 2:13)

The WORD starts to act when you know whom you have believed. Don’t clothe yourself with the thoughts of this world, but renew your mind as you have PUT on the NEW MAN.

We all have problems and challenges in our daily lives and very often these problems and threatening situations speak to us. Usually what we do is we start describing its intensity to ourselves and to others.”I only have this”, “How long do I suffer”, “how big this is”, ” seems like it will finish me” and so on.

How can we be victorious when we encounter challenges?

In Mark 11:23, Jesus gives us the key to this. He says, “SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN !!”.
Therefore, “SPEAK TO YOUR PROBLEMS BEFORE IT CAN UTTER A WORD TO YOU!” Let’s not talk about it, but let’s talk to it.

When the returning refugees of Israel started rebuilding their ruined temple under the leadership of Zerubbabel, there came a mountain like opposition from the “big people” of the land. Here comes the prophecy from Zechariah to the problem: “ Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And He shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”” (Zechariah 4:7 NKJV ). Yes, prophesying to the problem its destiny!!

So, now the next question is, what should we speak? We have to speak the God breathed scripture- the WORD OF GOD. When we speak God’s Word, we let God to decide the destiny of our problem. When God’s word is spoken to it, the problem now has an invincible challenge before it because God Himself encounters it. Let’s speak God’s Word to it and let God make us trample on it!
I heard a very powerful quote: instead of telling your God “I have a big problem”, tell your problem, “I have a big God!!”

Do you know why God gave us an institution of a family (father, mother, brother, sister, children, husband, wife etc) on earth?
So that we may know the peaceful sensation to be loved and to feel love. That is what the Father is missing today. He sent Jesus to show us the heart of God, so that everyone turns to Jesus and through Him can have fellowship and love with the Father. He is showing us what He is missing there in heaven.

So, turn to Jesus and come back to the Father, so that He feels what we feel today. The same way He came in us and is dwelling in us, let us love Him and have fellowship with Him.

GOD’S INNER CHAMBER – Tangu Bro
It is amazing to find that Jesus did not reveal His heart or His innermost desires and secrets when Judas Iscariot was with Him. (Judas who betrayed Jesus Christ). What was it that made Judas not come to the cross? It was his ‘selfishness, greed and wrong motive’. He was after money and fame and wanted to be someone at the expense of Jesus.

Now, if you read from John Chapter 13 to 17, you can see the mystery of the Glory of God and the walk with the Holy Spirit. After Judas leaves, as we read in John 13:31, Jesus starts off by saying, “One commandment I give you, LOVE one another”. And then He starts with the mysteries which is in John 14 –Do not let your hearts be troubled, You can go to the Father through Me, and then the promise of the Holy Spirit. Then amazingly in John 17, Jesus prays for all the disciples except Judas. Judas had left the gang to betray Jesus by then. (Jesus praying for His disciples i.e. in John17: 6-20.)

Something that you can find in all these is that, if we want God to reveal Himself to us in our lives, there is something that is preventing Him from revealing Himself to us. ‘And that is selfishness, greed and our motive.’

Why do we need to preach the gospel? Why have we come to the faith? Is it to get something out of Jesus? What is our motive for going to church now? Is it just to please our pastor or to get more blessings from him or is it still out of the First love we had for Jesus when we came to faith? As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:19,”If in this life only we have Hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable”. If that is so, Jesus will not reveal His inner secrets to us nor His heart to us, however the same love he gave you for your salvation will provide you for every need of yours. That is why Jesus said, “If you love me, I will reveal myself to you”. Again, interestingly, this is the word in John 14:21 where Jesus speaks ‘His heart’ after Judas goes.

Often we find that whenever we follow Jesus, it is either to meet our selfish needs, because of greed and wrong motive. The moment you and I come to understand Jesus as He is,‘a Lover and a Savior’ , He will give whatever we need. It is not for getting something, but to ‘know Him’.The moment you start loving Him without expecting anything at all, as Paul writes it, “It is no longer ‘I’ but ‘Christ’ who lives in me”.
God is working in us to set things right and to see our future according to the Hope he has called us for.He is more than our loving Father. He will do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think. But, He needs our LOVE which is selfless and without greed. The moment this happens, we will walk into the inner chamber of Jesus Christ thus the mystery which no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no heart has perceived occurs. Something awesome will happen to us the moment your love is towards Him. That is why the word says, “ this is for those who love Him”. God loves the world (John 3:16), but He reveals the secrets to those who love Him(John 14:21).

It is a heart whelming dilemma when the King of Kings, the glorious Creator, stood in front of his creation Peter and asked ‘Do you LOVE me more than what I have given you, the fish, the boat and everything I have given you, do you love me more than all of these?’ If you LOVE me, I am entrusting you with everything valuable to me.

I really pray that this happens and this can happen only with the help of the Holy Spirit. If we try to do this in our effort, it is not possible. When the Holy Spirit comes, He will fill us with the LOVE of God. And that is where disappointment doesn’t happen. Greed leads to disappointment.

Get the Judas out of you with the Help of the Holy Spirit. This is the time when the Holy Spirit pours HIS LOVE into our hearts and that LOVE of HIS, helps us to move into His inner chamber to reveal the secrets of the Kingdom of God.

Think of yourself as an acoustic guitar. It has to be of fine quality, including its make of wood and the 6 strings which are done by a maker. The instrument has to be tuned to play a perfect note and chords. This perfect guitar cannot tune itself. Even if the guitar wants to, it cannot tune itself without an external force or a guitarist. Even after the tuning, only while it is played by a good guitarist the full potential of the guitar can be used.

The same way, you cannot tune yourself. It is the Father who made you, to get tuned each day by Jesus and to be played with the power of the Holy Spirit as per His will. So, don’t try to tune yourself but depend on Jesus, fall in love with Him and submit to His will

What an awesome move of God we are seeing among our youth these days after the teens and twenties camp! Experiences incomprehensible for the natural mind. Many of our teens and twenties who were reluctant to show themselves up even in a small group are now coming forward saying , ” I’ve seen Jesus, He spoke to me, Oh! His love is incomparable, I am filled with real peace!”

Some even had trips to heaven and testified as if they had visited a nearby city!
We can’t take it as a child play because their experiences were accompanied by tremendous transformation in their character and conduct. ‘The fruit proves the tree!’
Even little children under the age of 5 narrates their supernatural experiences in profound words.

They all say that they’ve tasted the real peace! A question may pop up; “Didn’t these little ones have peace?”

Conclusion: Yes, they had peace, they had no worries, they were happy and were enjoying life but now they’ve got their best friend Jesus and He has gifted them something special ! That means Jesus has got higher measures of peace to supply, more than what we have ever experienced! The real peace through the Holy Spirit who is the gift of Jesus is inexpressible and surpasses all human knowledge.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

“…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

“…for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:17‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

“…yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

We need this best friend. We too need this amazing new life filled with the real peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. We all need this supernatural, real life here on earth which is the foretaste of what we are going to experience eternally in heaven with Jesus after our life here on earth !
Lord, thank you, for thy kingdom has come!!

The bible says in John 2:11, “This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him” .The miracle in Cana was a manifestation of the glory of God. Whenever the glory of God is manifests, the supernatural happens. I am not talking about miracles, but supernatural wonders. Here we know that wine was made from water. Ordinary water became high grade wine – in an instant!! Let me tell you what happens when the glory of God manifests.-What usually takes years to happen will happen instantly and powerfully and in such a way that the world will see it .It will be a sign to the world.
But what triggered Jesus to manifest His glory at this wedding? We read that when the wine gets over, Mary His mother tells the servants,” Whatever He says to you, do it”. This is the key to bring out His glory that is already in us. DO AS HE SAYS!! The moment you do as He says, you will see His glory manifest in your life .Not only you, but the whole world will see it. Even though Jesus said His time had not yet come, their faith compelled Him and obedience to His Word accelerated the wonder. What could not happen in years happened in a second ! Miracles don’t happen by accident but it is God’s forceful intervention as an answer to violent faith.
In the bible, many great men of God did as God told them to, even though it seemed foolishness to them. They obeyed God and experienced His glory in their lives.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, it is our faith and obedience to God that triggers the supernatural. Let’s DO AS HE SAYS and see His glory revealed !!
